Strengths
Weaknesses
The MPL Indonesia Season 18 regular season officially ended October 18. Six teams advance to the playoffs, running November 4–8 at Jatim Expo, Surabaya, fighting for the title and — more importantly — two slots at the M8 World Championship in Turkey.
Final regular-season standings
| Team | W-L | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Team Liquid ID | 10-3 | 10 |
| Natus Vincere | 9-3 | 9 |
| Alter Ego | 8-5 | 8 |
| Bigetron by Vitality | 7-5 | 7 |
| ONIC | 5-7 | 5 |
| EVOS | 5-6 | 5 |
The painful note: RRQ Hoshi (3-9) and Geek Fam ID (3-10) missed the playoffs — a rough season for two of the league's biggest fanbases.
The playoff storylines
The Team Liquid ID resurgence. After finishing 4-12 and missing playoffs last season, TLID topped the standings at 10-3. Their rebuild worked — and they arrive as the team to beat.
NAVI, the international dark horse. The Ukrainian giant finished second (9-3). Alongside Bigetron by Vitality, they're proof that global org investment is raising MPL ID's competitive level.
Bigetron by Vitality, the defending champions. A 7-5 finish — not as dominant as last season, but championship experience can't be discounted in a knockout bracket.
ONIC on the edge. At 5-7, squeaking in as the fifth seed. For an org of ONIC's stature, this season has been far below their standard.
Format and schedule
- Playoffs: November 4–8, Jatim Expo Surabaya
- Six teams, hybrid elimination format
- The two finalists qualify for the M8 World Championship in Turkey
For those attending in Surabaya, tickets usually sell through MPL Indonesia's official platforms — watch their official channels, because MPL playoffs always sell out fast.
What's at stake
M8 is MLBB's world stage. Indonesia is always a title contender, and with NAVI and Vitality bringing international standards to the domestic league, this year's two representatives could be the strongest in several seasons. November is going to be fun.
