Demacia Cup 2026 Final: BNK FearX 3-1 Team WE
The Demacia Cup 2026 final delivered exactly what the tournament promised: a Korea-versus-China showdown, a packed Beijing Smart Esports Center, and one jungler who refused to let the series be close. BNK FearX beat Team WE 3-1 on October 17 to claim the Demacia Cup Global Invitational title, with Jeon 'Raptor' Eo-jin putting on a masterclass that locked up tournament MVP before the final game even ended.
This was the natural end to a story we previewed last week, when BNK FearX were waiting for their challenger in Beijing. That challenger turned out to be Team WE, fresh off a grueling 3-2 semifinal win over HANJIN BRION. The question was whether WE had anything left in the tank. The answer, mostly, was no.
Demacia Cup 2026 Final Recap
Game 1 was the Raptor show from minute one. He locked in Lee Sin and made it look unfair, racking up four kills in the first ten minutes in the top-jungle matchup. A fed Lee Sin radiates pressure into every lane, and BNK FearX rode it to a 10,000-gold lead at 20 minutes. Team WE never found a way back in.
Game 2 was the closest thing WE had to momentum. They landed a four-man dive in the bottom lane for a double kill and looked dangerous for a stretch. But Raptor's Qiyana and Lee 'VicLa' Dae-kwang's Orianna quietly built a real CS lead, and BNK FearX's macro play snowballed the game open. Even a teamfight where their jungle and support got caught first swung BNK FearX's way, thanks to Kim 'TaeYoon' Tae-yoon's Kai'Sa. Baron, 27 minutes, 2-0.
Games 3 and 4 followed the script: BNK FearX controlled the map, Raptor dictated the tempo, and Team WE's late-game hopes faded a little more each fight. The 3-1 scoreline flatters the losers slightly — this was a final with one team clearly operating a level above.
How They Got Here
BNK FearX's path to the final was the tougher draw. They beat JD Gaming 3-2, edged LGD Gaming 2-1, and took down KT Rolster 3-1 in the semifinal on October 14 — that series had its own highlights, including Raptor diving on Vi to shut down Jiwoo's Caitlyn. Team WE, meanwhile, survived the longest series of the tournament against HANJIN BRION: a 3-2 that ended on Smolder hitting 225 stacks and an Infernal Soul push. That kind of series wins fans but costs energy, and it showed on stage in Beijing.
The tournament itself deserves a nod. The Demacia Cup went global this year with 12 teams from all major regions, and this Korea-China final was the showcase the organizers wanted. FearX now have a statement trophy heading into the rest of the season.
What This Means for Worlds
The timing could not be better. LoL Worlds 2026 is running its play-in stage right now — Karmine Corp just swept MVK while FURIA sent Cloud9 home — and the play-in grand final lands on October 18. BNK FearX will not be a quiet name in any offseason conversation after this. Raptor's form, in particular, is the kind that makes analysts recalibrate: this was not one good series, it was a tournament-long carry.
For Team WE, the silver lining is real but thin. They proved they can hang with the best in a five-game series, which is more than most LPL teams managed this event. But finals are judged by trophies, and this one goes to Seoul.
